The fleet is administered by NOFO, which is responsible for contract follow-up, ongoing contact, coordination and planning of courses and exercises as well as oil spill response equipment.<\/p>\n<p>Vessels must comply with the Norwegian Maritime Directorate&#8217;s<span> <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/lovdata.no\/dokument\/SF\/forskrift\/2011-02-08-130\">Regulations on the use of vessels in oil spill response.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h4>Practical information<\/h4>\n<p>Vessel owners who wish to participate in the scheme can contact NOFO by sending an email to<span> <\/span><a href=\"mailto:opl@nofo.no\">opl@nofo.no<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Vessels will be assessed individually according to NOFO&#8217;s needs before a contract is entered into.<\/p>\n<p>Assessment criteria for vessels to be included in the fleet will be the vessel&#8217;s size, crane capacity, towing capacity, good deck space, truster capacity and geographical location.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h4>A contract with NOFO entails the following obligations for the vessel owner:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain vessels in proper condition<\/li>\n<li>Report on position and availability<\/li>\n<li>Access to at least 3 crew members during exercises or actions<\/li>\n<li>Participate in regular courses, exercises and oil spill response operations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.4&#8243;
