Our main task is to fulfill our members’ needs for an efficient and robust oil spill response. <\/span><\/p>\n NOFO improves oil spill preparedness through the development and implementation of new technology. At the same time, we provide training, emergency preparedness and technology development on behalf of the operating companies. <\/span><\/p>\n The business started in 1978 with a few employees and the purchase of some equipment. The emergency response now consists of a large and competent organization with good access to oil spill response resources through its own equipment and a number of agreements with public and private actors.
